What one Maple buys
AI here is sold as an allowance rather than as a plan tier, which is why the Saver is on the free plan too. One analysis costs one Maple, every plan gets a monthly allowance, and the allowance is the thing that grows when you pay. There is no separate key to bring, no per-call billing, and no way to run up a surprise charge: when the allowance is gone it stops until the month turns over. The deterministic parts, browsing deals and matching coupons, never cost a Maple at all.
Common questions
Is the Grocery Saver only on paid plans?
No. It is on every plan, including free. What differs is the monthly Maple allowance: one analysis costs one Maple, and paid plans simply include more of them.
Why compare by unit price?
Because sticker price hides size. A 750 g box at $4.50 and a 1 kg bag at $5.60 look close until you divide, at which point one is 20 percent cheaper per gram. Ranking by unit price removes the guesswork from that comparison.
Can the AI make up a price?
No. Prices come from flyer data with a source, and the model is not permitted to produce one. Its job is choosing and explaining alternatives, not inventing numbers.
What is the one-stop basket?
A comparison that costs your whole list at each nearby store and tells you which single store is cheapest overall, including whether splitting the trip is genuinely worth the extra stop.
