MapleTrack is built privacy-first for Canadian households. This page explains what we collect, why, and the control you keep over your data.

01What we collect

Account details (name, email), the financial data you enter (transactions, income, budgets, goals), and the province you choose for tax. We never sell your data.

02How we use it

To run the app: calculate Safe-to-Spend, apply Canadian sales tax, forecast cash flow, and power AI features you trigger. AI questions count against your monthly Maples.

03Your control (PIPEDA)

You can download your household data anytime from your account page, on every plan. You can also request deletion of your account and data. Your numbers stay yours.

04Encryption and data residency

Every record you store is encrypted at rest, not just secrets, and your data is hosted in Canada (ca-central-1). Backups are encrypted and secrets are never written to logs.
